The Rev. Dr. Jack Sullivan, Jr. is First Christian Church's Senior Pastor. A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Pastor Jack is a humanitarian and advocate for social justice. He sits on the boards of Findlay's LGBTQ+ Spectrum, Century Health, and the LGBTQ+ Community Council. Pastor Jack is a life member of the NAACP and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., and chairs Ohioans to Stop Executions and the Disciples Justice Action Network. He participates in the Poor People's Campaign, the Findlay Mental Health Diversity Task Force, and the Findlay Ministerial Association, and serves on the boards of two national anti-death penalty organizations, Journey of Hope: From Violence to Healing, and Death Penalty Action, as well as the Ohio Council of Churches and the Ohio regional bodies of both the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and the United Church of Christ. Pastor Jack is married to the Rev. Sekinah Hamlin who chairs the Faith and Credit Roundtable of the Center for Responsible Lending. As a pastor and ordained minister, he works to build ministries that bring together the biblical call for Christian unity, social justice, and evangelism in an effort to live and share the love and hope of God, and build the "beloved community" made known through Jesus Christ.
